Vermicelli Kozhukattai

Two days back I posted "Vermicelli Cutlet" prepared from the leftover vermicelli upma and today much more interesting and delicious "Vermicelli Kozhukattai". This makes up for a good evening snack. If you don't have upma, cook some vermicelli with salt and sauted onion and add them to other ingredients.

Ingredients :

1. Vermicelli Upma - 1 Cup
2. Rice Flour - 1 Cup
3. Red Chilly Powder - 1.5 tsp
4. Coconut - 1/2 Cup (Grated)
5. Salt - Needed qty
6. Hot water - 1/2 Cup or adjust accordingly.

Procedure:

1. Combine all the ingredients (except upma) and then add hot water.
2. Make it to a chappathi dough consistency.
3. Now, add the vermicelli upma. Mix them together.
4. Make small round balls.
5. Place them in oil greased idly plates and cook.
6. Serve hot.
